I don’t wear much makeup on a daily basis. Usually, I only have on my lashes from Lashify (check out my previous post on Lashify here), tinted lip balm, and BB cream.
I first heard of this brand called Shine Cosmetics from my Facebook feed, but didn’t think to look into it. As I kept hearing about this brand’s BB cream, I decided to check out their website and suddenly found myself purchasing their BB cream…lol.
My package arrived much earlier than I thought it would, considering I live in Hawaii. I think it took only 4 days to get to my mailbox. As soon as I received the package, I was so excited that I ripped it open quickly and immediately tested the BB cream.
WOW…I was pretty shocked.
All I can say is…I am very impressed!
I purchased the color Empowered, hoping that it would work for my skin tone, and luckily for me, it was a perfect match!
You can barely even tell that I’m wearing any makeup, and it makes my skin look so much smoother. I always prefer to have my makeup look more natural.

I’ve been applying the BB cream to my face with just my fingers, and it looks the same as if I were to have used a brush or beautyblender.
It feels very lightweight on my skin and has a powdery finish, which is a HUGE plus for me because I hate when I feel oily after putting on makeup.
This really lasts throughout the day for me, and I don’t feel greasy at the end of the day, even though this includes SPF 15! This is perfect for me because I’ve had the hardest time finding a good sunscreen for my face that doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. And…if you do like to reapply throughout the day, you can just throw the BB cream into your bag because it’s the perfect size that you can carry around.
Of course I have to say that everybody is different, and even though this product works very well for me, it may not work the same for you. You just need to try it out yourself and decide from there.
